Great news

My nephew had re-constructive surgery on his face a couple of days ago. It lasted about 7 hours and today he had surgery on his broken arm. He is doing well and breathing on his own. They are going to start taking him off of the sedatives and wake him up. H jaw is wired shut so he can't talk when he is awake but I am sure he will be happy to see everyone.

Last weekend

This past weekend was not a good one. My nephew was in a very bad accident. He is currently in critical condition with the following:

• fractured pelvis
• broken arm
• collapsed lungs
• broken rib
• swollen brain
• lacerations on the face which will require reconstructive surgery

He is on life support. The positive news, right now, is that his vitals are all stable.
