Wrong email address

Today, I got an email from a nudist colony in Florida which included their February calendar. I responded with the following:

"You have the wrong email address. I do not live in Florida nor am I a nudist.

I live in Arizona and I am fully-clothed most of the time.

Please remove my email address from your mailing list"

So the cat is out of the bag, I am not a nudist.

Wil Wheaton

I met him today at Phoenix Cactus Comic-Con. Yes, that Wil Wheaton. He was in movies like Stand By Me and one of my favorite movies: Toy Soldiers. He was also on this show Star Trek, you may have heard of it.

I became a fan of his when I started reading his blog about 4 years back, and subsequently, his books.

(Tuvak and Checkov were also at the con but I've never read their blogs.)

Wil seemed pretty nice. It is always a good time meeting the people that your a fan of.

So far...

So good. I think this semester is looking bright. Corporate finance seems like it is going to be interesting and fairly stress-free. The instructor guarantees a B- as long as you try to learn. I am shooting for an A.

And so it begins...

I start school tonight. Corporate Finance. I sure hope I enjoy this semester more than I did the last one. Only 1 more year after this until I get my Masters. Who!!

My weekend is already filled. Tonight I am going to go see my friend's band play, tomorrow will probably be a day of geocaching, and Sunday I will be hanging out with my mom while dreading Monday since classes start back up!!

I owe you an apology

I realize that all my posts have basically been pictures of my dog. I have no kids and this is my first puppy (as an adult owner) so I am rather excited. I do know that it can make rather boring posts so I am sorry.

So what have I been doing? The latest thing is geocaching which is basically "treasure" hunting using a gps device. That's been pretty fun lately. My friend, J, got one for his birthday/Christmas so the crew has become addicted.

Personally, I am now addicted to blueberry coffee (by 7-Eleven) which I was introduced to in New York. I have only seen it there so my in-laws sent me some for Christmas. Other than that, I am enjoying my puppy, obviously, and dreading going back to school on the 14th.
